IMOB Integration Model of Building Disciplines
IMOB is a tool developed by our group with over 30 years of experience, based on the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) plan of work. It's designed to help construction managers overcome the complexities of the construction and building industry, and to streamline the process of strategy definition in pre-design, design, construction, and post-construction.
IMOB is structured around 8 phases and 8 disciplines that guides the construction process from start to finish:

Strategy definition
In this phase, we work with our clients to define the project goals, budget, and timeline. We also identify potential risks and opportunities and develop a strategic plan for the project.

Preparation & briefing
During this phase, we gather all the necessary information, such as site conditions and building regulations, and prepare a detailed brief for the project. We also establish communication channels and protocols to ensure smooth collaboration between all parties involved.
2.
Concept Design
In this phase, we develop the initial design concepts based on the project brief and client feedback. We also conduct feasibility studies and identify potential constraints.

Spatial coordinator
During this phase, we coordinate all spatial requirements, including the layout, materials, and equipment needed for the project. We also identify potential conflicts and resolve them proactively.
4.
Technical design
In this phase, we develop detailed technical drawings and specifications based on the approved concept design. We also review the design with all stakeholders and make all necessary adjustments.
5.
Construction
During this phase, we oversee the construction process, including procurement, scheduling, quality control, and site management. We also ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
6.
Handover & close-out
In this phase, we ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and that all relevant documentation and warranties are in place. We also conduct final inspections and handover the project to the client.
7.
In use
During this phase, we provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the building functions as intended. We also collect feedback from clients and stakeholders to improve our process for future projects.
